Our Project
We renovate traditional houses to transform them into splendid vacation homes that we have been renting since 2013. Since then, we've had a clear goal: when you travel to Galicia and choose one of our vacation homes to stay in, we want you to feel as if you're in your own home. We understand there's no feeling in the world better than being in your own space.
Later on, we incorporated a warehouse for field, garden, and orchard products into the project. This activity was initiated by our grandmother, Dorinda, back in 1935, in the main markets of the region. Our parents, Jesús and María, managed it for over 40 years and were highly valued and appreciated throughout the area for their dedication to this local business.
Gradually, many of our guests started asking for pieces of decoration and furniture from our vacation homes. Seeing the positive reception of the pieces we had designed, encouraged by family and friends, we decided to create our own product line. These products are available in our warehouse in Carballo and now also in our online store.
That's how, towards the end of 2023, we launched our online store at www.vilanovaa.com. This allows us to offer our slowly crafted artisanal products to enthusiasts of a more relaxed and healthy lifestyle, so they can enjoy them as much as we do.
As a natural evolution, after advising our guests for 10 years about the main points of interest in Galicia, the best restaurants, activities, and shops, we felt it was time to create a travel and lifestyle blog: Galicia Natural Blog. This blog is meant to share our favorite places in our native Galicia with travelers worldwide. You'll find guides, restaurant recommendations, activities, and shopping tips for Galicia. Galicia Natural Blog is also where we share information about inspiring vacation rental homes for a natural lifestyle.

We offer our customers the experience of purchasing the highest quality products in a long-standing store firmly committed to local development and sustainability. Since the beginning, our family has accumulated precious know-how over three generations, enabling us to select the best products, many of them our own production, to offer to our lifelong customers and new ones worldwide, as we've been doing for almost 90 years.
And to our guests, we offer stays in our vacation homes, located in the heart of nature, ensuring a peaceful retreat yet close to everything. THE TEAM
It is led by 2 siblings, Eva and Roberto Vilanova, she an Industrial Organization Engineer and Technical Industrial Engineer, and he an Industrial Organization Engineer and Telecommunications Technical Engineer. Our well-integrated team, formed by a solid base of local suppliers and artisans, without whom this project wouldn't be possible, includes farmers, carpenters, stone restorers, potters and ceramists, weavers, engineers, and architects.
