Seasonal Recipe Fruit Cake from Galicia
INGREDIENTS
- 2 g puff pastry bases.
- 400 g of fresh fruits (strawberries, plums, apples...).
- 80 g of brown sugar.
- 80 g of ground almonds.
- 25 g butter.
METHOD
- Preheat the oven to 185ºC.
- Line the mold with baking paper.
- Wash and cut the fruit.
- Spread one of the refrigerated puff pastry bases in the mold.
- Mix half the sugar with the almonds and spread the mixture over the puff pastry base.
- Cut the other puff pastry base into 1 cm thick strips and place them on top of the fruit, creating a mesh.
- Sprinkle the rest of the sugar over the puff pastry.
- Bake for 30 minutes at 200 ºC.
- To serve it you have to let it cool completely.
